Medical services for the stabilization and treatment of a medical emergency due to illness or accident, including but not limited to:

  • Telemedicine
  • House Call
  • Inpatient and Outpatient Emergency Services
  • Anesthesia, blood transfusions, oxygen
  • Hospital supplies, plasters, bandages, slings, etc.

Maximum limit per person, during the period of time or contracted dates of the trip, and while the Plan is in force.

Services will be provided until the emergency ceases, or the maximum limit has been reached.
 
  • Medical Assistance for Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

Up to $500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $1000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000 or $100,000
 
  • Medical assistance for Covid-19 – Coronavirus

Coverage includes two (2) medically necessary screening tests. All tests that are necessary for entry into a destination country are excluded.

3 Services of doctors and specialists for the care, treatment, or surgery required by an emergency Up to the maximum limit indicated in Section. I.1. (top)
4 Medications prescribed by an emergency Up to $750
5 Diagnostic tests and procedures required by an emergency Up to the maximum limit indicated in Section. I.1. (top)
6 Dental Emergency

Up to $500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $750 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000 up to $100,000
1 Ground or air transfer for medical emergency.

Up to $25,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $50,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $100,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
2 Repatriation for medical emergency

Up to $25,500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $50,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $100,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000 or more
3 Hotel stay due to a prescribed convalescence resulting from a Medical Emergency $100 per day, maximum 10 days
4 Hotel stay for a positive Covid-19 test abroad $100 per day, maximum 14 days
5 Transfer of one (1) companion for hospitalization of the Holder for more than 5 days as a result of a medical emergency

Up to $1,250 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $2,500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $3,500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
6 Hotel stay for one (1) companion

Up to $100 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000 maximum 10 days
Up to $150 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000 maximum 10 days
Up to $250 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000 maximum 10 days
7 Guaranteed return (date different from the scheduled one) Up to $500 – difference in fare cost or penalty imposed by the carrier
8 Return delayed by Covid-19 Up to $300 – difference or penalty imposed by the carrier
9 Return of companion of 15 years or less, or adult over 75 years Up to $5,000
10 Funeral Repatriation

Up to $6,250 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $12,500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $20,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
11 Legal assistance Up to $1,500
12 Deposit expense Up to $1,500
13 Tow service for rented vehicle Up to $100
14 Flight cancelled or delayed for more than six (6) consecutive hours Up to $300
15 Location of lost luggage Support call – tracking and delivery
16 Baggage delay for more than 24 hours

Up to $200 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $300 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $400 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
17 Definitive loss of luggage after 10 days

Up to $1,250 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $2,500 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $5,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
18 Return due to the death of an immediate family member Up to $500 – difference in fare cost or penalty imposed by the carrier
19 Return for catastrophic loss at your permanent residence Up to $500 – difference in fare cost or penalty imposed by the carrier
20 Connection flight loss for more than six (6) consecutive hours Up to $150
21 Loss of passport Up to $500 – consular management
22 Trip cancellation and Interruption

Up to $3,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $6,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $8,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
23 Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Up to $50,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $25,000
Up to $100,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $50,000
Up to $150,000 – for plans with a maximum limit of $100,000
24 Funeral Assistance for Accidental Death Up to $3,000
